The following principles we believe result in effective ministry. They come from wisdom gleaned through the years, and form the basis for how we conduct ministry.
We consider these points as especially relevant for pastors and church leaders, so they may most effectively carry out their ministries to the Body of Christ.
We let the Head be the head. Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and we seek to do things His way, not our own. We sincerely believe in pursuing His counsel and wisdom in everything we do, and that we are not to move forward on any project, teaching, book, or mission work without His direct revelation to do so.
We shouldn’t seek an anointing, but seek the anointed one, Jesus Christ. Drawing near to Him enables greater spiritual authority in ministering to others. We study to preach the written Word, strive to let His Word abide in us, and seek to take our instructions from the Holy Spirit.
The message is greater than the messenger. Jesus made Himself of no reputation. We refuse to build one for ourselves through overt self-promotion or allowing others to give us titles.
Teach just as passionately to five as to 5,000. We are not looking for numbers. We’re looking for those who will be faithful, and the next apostle Paul, Peter, and John.
We are not a denomination. We do not encourage obligatory or idol-forming spiritual partnerships, memberships, or affiliations. Rather, we mentor and teach those who will be faithful to teach others also. Our only desire is to please the Lord and share with others what the Holy Spirit has given to us.
Effective discipleship happens when Christian believers learn to hear and obey the Lord’s voice for themselves. Letting His rhema-speaking words abide in us is all about learning what He is speaking to us today, and gathering it as manna for building a church against which the gates of hell shall not prevail (Matthew 16:17-19).
Those who learn to move the heart of God through prayer move the world. The fuel of Kingdom Faith Ministries International is the prayer of the faithful. We depend on those who know how to access our Heavenly Father in His throne room. We value prayer support as much as any financial help.
