News: 2010 Year End Report

Dear Precious Saints,

God bless you in the name that is truly above all names, and our First Love, Jesus Christ!

Rita and I want to thank you for all your kindness, prayers, and support this past year for the ministry of Kingdom Faith Ministries International. We are so astonished by what God has done with your help    when you look at the report below it is amazing to see how much God has done. In thinking about this, we can only melt in tears of thankfulness to Him.  The heart that we covet to build and to keep each day before our Master is really the only contribution that we can honestly make but is the raw material that we trust that God can work with. So this is our goal personally and as a ministry:

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

With this in mind, Rita and I invite you to review with us what God has done in this past year with your help. We believe God is blessing us in astonishing ways, and we are very very grateful to Him:

In Central and Eastern Kenya - Pastors John and Carol began last May to take audio teachings from the KFMI website to local radio stations. Two stations began playing them for free, twice a day.    Soon pastors from cities all over wanted to gather to hear more. By December, eight conferences later, over 418 pastors and 869 church workers from Mombasa, Nairobi, and Nakuru and many places in between (and also Uganda) were blessed by books and teachings about learning to hear the voice of the Lord. Two thousand copies of The Voice Upon The Waters in the Kiswahili language are now being distributed. For 2011, six 2-week formal schools of ministry are planned in three cities to continue training in Dining At The Master's Table, Acts 29 - Your Power In Christ, How To Walk By The Spirit In Your Marriage, and Succeeding In Spiritual Warfare. We anticipate reaching thousands of pastors and church workers with these schools. Additional conferences are being requested of Pastor John in both Uganda and now the Congo. So our needs include finances for the purchase of chairs, computer projection and portable sound equipment, and printing of handbooks and materials. Please be praying and asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and how you can help!

In North Western Kenya - Pastor Moses is running a powerful 6 month school of ministry program. He is teaching many of the same subjects and using the same books and materials noted above along with works from other ministries. He has many of the same needs for the continuing support of many pastors in residence at the school. So far, 64 powerful men of God have graduated from this school, and classes have just begun in January for the second class of students. Just this morning via the computer on Skype Moses shared with me that the students are currently studying the Acts 29 book as part of their first instruction. They are also diligently making and firing mud bricks as the first step of building a campus on some beautiful farm property which they have been farming to provide support for the school.

Our KFMI Vice President, Pastors George and Rhonda Sahlstrom, have been main engines of personal teaching, investment, and close coordination with Pastor Moses, and they have been led by the Lord to help direct the school by coming alongside. This is an awesome work that the Holy Spirit is doing, and is worthy of much prayer and support. Originally inspired by the Dining At The Master s Table book in 2006, Moses learned to hear and obey the Lord s instruction in his ministry. The Lord directed him to begin evangelizing the desert northwest region of Kenya, going into Sudan and border refugee camps, and developing churches everywhere he went. Now look what the Lord is doing in his ministry! What amazing things happen when we learn to hear and obey our Master s voice!

And in Southwest Kenya - we dearly desire to help our precious brother, Pastor Hesbon, who in his retirement as a school teacher started a Christian school which now numbers over 400 students. In addition, he oversees 25 village mission churches, raising up young pastors with zeal and fire of the Holy Ghost. It has long been in my heart to help these children further. A few years ago, $800 enabled the addition of three class rooms so that they could expand into higher grades as the children grew past the 4th grade. He teaches English with the Bible, does art classes with Biblical themes, etc. The staff is dedicated, but no funds are available to pay them or for school supplies. Some of the children had to come naked, and ashamed, because they were orphans who could not afford clothing of any kind, much less school uniforms. This is a project dear to our hearts, and we hope it is to yours also.

In Pakistan - Pastor Khalid and his team established a Bible College for pastors. Fifty pastors meet four nights a week, plus another dozen pastors commute on weekends to be trained in hearing the voice of the Lord using the same materials noted above for Kenya. In addition, a cable television station is reaching thousands of people with the Gospel, and at $200 per month each, ten more cable stations want to begin 24 hour praise, worship, and teaching stations. The pastors conference that we conducted in February 2010 is winning and instructing hundreds of thousands of viewers! This is a work which is ready to expand dramatically into many cities. The spiritual warfare is real in Pakistan.

But the Gospel of the Kingdom is powerfully moving all over the country. To-date, over 13,000 copies of The Voice Upon The Waters have been distributed to churches and people in all venues and over 35 cities. They would like to be able to print another 25,000! Please pray for these needs, and especially for a video camera to record more teachings. I hope to travel in the coming months to help Pastor Khalid in this project. Please pray for the Gospel in Pakistan, and help as you are led, especially in continuing support that we can count on for planning and continuing these projects.

In North India - Pastor    Vinod's outreach work is not only all over India, but he is a powerful evangelist who brings the fragrance of Christ into every meeting. The Lord has opened doors    to    kings,presidents, and government leaders for Vinod to minister in over 35 nations around the world. He has seen the value of The Voice Upon The Waters book, and has personally arranged the translation into both the Hindi and Punjabi languages, printing and distributing over 120,000 copies all over India. These books, available in the website bookstore, speak powerfully about Jesus Christ as our precious Fountain of Living Water. Thousands have come to Christ through this book, and it continues to spark the formation of many Bible schools in many countries. Pastor Vinod is in constant need for funding new printings of this book to mobilize church youth groups,women's groups, and young pastors in training to evangelize and minister the Gospel of Christ as the Fountain.

He writes: Today we had another    great of an outreach and convention. I had a great privilege to proclaim the goodnews to nearly 20,000 people that gathered. Here in picture (above right) are (team members with some of the Voice Upon The Waters) books and my Mahindra Jeep, while (right) several hundreds of students were on road and were interested in reading more about the Lord Jesus Christ.

We entered into buses and people took books and began reading. Brother Paul, by the grace of God 20,000 more books are printed and 11,000 were distributed today in a massive gathering at Dhariwal.

Books are highly valued in Asia and Africa. Each one is read and passed along an average to 20 and as much as 30 times. We are amazed, and perplexed at the same time as to how we can keep such a powerful work supplied with materials. We sent him $550 for helping with the printing costs. This is fertile soil. Please pray! Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, and tell you what He would be pleased to have you do to help. This is how we work as a ministry. This is how He works with us to know what to do, who to help, and how.

In South India - Pastor Moses and his team have been completing the Tamil translation of this same book for distribution and evangelizing among the millions of people who speak this language. He also oversees multiple orphanage sites and has such a heart for the children. He is a mighty pastor, and we have enjoyed his ministry at our home church many times. Pastor Moses has been battling severe health problems, and we ask for your prayers for this mighty warrior for the Lord.

In The Philippines - Pastor Rolondo is eagerly awaiting materials to begin translating both The Voice Upon The Waters and the Dining At The Master's Table: Learning To Hear The Voice Of The Lord books into the language of Visayans in order to reach thousands of mountain villages and saints in the cities. Many years ago he taught his young pastor students using the Dining At The Master s Table books that we had sent to him. He has seen so much good fruit that he is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to translate and print these materials. More finances.....more prayer for our Heavenly Father's divine supply. This is a great problem to have, and we glorify our Father to have such opportunity rise up in our faith!

In Zambia - Back to Africa, Pastor Christopher has translated The Voice Upon The Waters book and is awaiting our help to supply $1700 to print them into his language of Bemba. He writes me often, since last summer, hoping that we can move forward on this project. He is precious and dynamic in Christ. Usually the pattern for Bible schools seems to be that the Lord will inspire a pastor to translate a KFMI book (or books) with a passion from the Holy Spirit to teach the saints in their churches how to hear the voice of the Lord. As they request permission from us to do such a translation, and as they work to develop a translation team, the Lord honors their faith! Good fruit follows    the lessons on learning to hear and obey the voice of the Lord brings much favor from the Lord! As that good fruit continues to develop, Bible schools begin to form. It all seems to begin with a passion for this subject, a willingness to listen and obey the Lord speaking and directing their steps. God blesses their ministries and enlarges their tents. So many other pastors get blessed in the process as they receive copies and get excited by what they read.

In Bangladesh and Nepal - we are blessed to work together with a dear pastor, Pastor Jan, who directs a mission and Holy Spirit conference training for pastors in both Bangladesh and Nepal. We are hoping to be able to visit him in the coming months to bless and help him in his powerful work among God's people. Our heart is to come alongside and work under his direction to help as the Lord leads him and as we are able. Ways that we desire to help include providing teaching materials as he might desire. We are a little ministry in terms of resources, but God keeps opening big doors in astounding ways. All of the things posted in this news update have happened in the last two years, but mainly in the past 8 months. So we are as astonished as anyone to see what doors the Lord is opening, and we dearly long to be able to step through every door that He invites us through. We know He will supply all that He commissions, and we desire to do no more, and no less. This is His Kingdom, and His alone. We refuse to both seek and become spiritual partners with the many who ask. We desire to simply give what we have from the Holy Spirit to teach and share. Hallelujah!

Other Books, Publications, and Projects - Thus far, the Dining At The Master's Table: Learning To Hear The Voice Of the Lord book is being used in 84 Bible schools in 23 nations around the world. The KFMI ministry website provides free training materials to many more nations (61 nations in the last six months accessed the website). The Acts 29 Course teaching how to operate all 9 manifestations of the Holy Spirit is being developed, with the first book in the series already in use in Bible schools in the US, East Africa, and Pakistan. God is doing a thing, and we are very humbled by His grace and His love to do these things.

The next step is to begin video production for use in these schools. The recently completed Succeeding In Spiritual Warfare conference is the first of such professional quality video productions (except for the Dining At The Master's Table videos in use in Pakistan), and it was powerful! The DVD's of the spiritual warfare conference are on sale now in the bookstore ($40) for delivery we hope in February.    They consist of over 8 hours of teachings on overcoming curses, breaking ungodly soul ties, taking authority over disease and sickness, shining light in the darkness, gaining dominion strength in the secret place of the most high, casting out demons, and many more topics enabling the blood of Jesus Christ and His revelation to prevail!    The additional written book manual is available to order ($10) which goes into further depth. This is an equipping package for spiritual warriors. All the Bible schools are waiting for these videos, and producing more video conferences will be a focus for this year for Pastor Paul and the Bible schools.

Another work in progress is a television company that is being set up for satellite broadcasting into Africa and other nations. Dr. Paul has been asked to be a part of the formation of this company along with a handful of other wonderful ministries anointed of the Holy Spirit. Our hearts are to provide materials (primarily seminars and courses) for the equipping of the saints. Unlike most Christian TV stations, we hope to use it specifically to train leaders around the world, giving them tools for more effective ministry such as the courses on ministering healing, operating all nine manifestations of the Holy Spirit, learning to hear the voice of the Lord, etc. Once the programs are in English, voice-over versions can be done in other languages. To that end we are gratefully in prayer for the Lord to bring this concept into reality. It is very expensive. But a sponsor has offered to pay for the first six months of programming, which we expect will be enough to launch and become self-sustaining. We need to pray! This can impact millions of people in hard to reach places.

Travel - This past year Pastor Paul was called to minister in several places by God s grace and mercy. In February and March he traveled to Dubai with Pastor Kevin to teach churches in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. So many precious saints are there in congregations that long to hear more about the Lord and the Holy Spirit!

Then it was on to Pakistan where Kevin and Paul taught a conference for pastors and church leaders. Originally planned for 150, this grew to 300 after the first day of the event. Now the videos from this conference are being played continuously on a local cable station, with more stations clamoring for the same.    A Bible College that began in the fall after the conference will graduate 60 students in the early summer, and a second bible school is planned to open in a second city using these same materials from our bookstore (several have already been translated into Urdu). So many are coming to the Lord, and there is great hunger among Christians and non-Christians in this nation, despite what you hear on the news. Keep praying for them!

In June Paul helped plant and co-pastor a second church in a small community near where we live. So on Sunday mornings, he teaches at the Maranatha Bible Chapel church, and in the afternoons he ministers at the Christian Harvest Center a few towns away. Balancing this work with travels is a joy when the Lord orders his steps. But trusting the Lord to keep away heavy snow storms while he travels has been a problem. While in Pakistan, Rita at home had to contend with a 40 inch snowfall (101cm) and just two weeks ago while Paul was in Alaska, 26 inches (66cm) came down. So please don t forget to pray for Rita especially when Paul is travelling!

August saw Paul stopping in to Seattle to work with our wonderful brother and sister in the Lord, Jason and Anna. Jason volunteers his love and expertise to manage the KFMI website that reaches so many thousands of people around the world. Then it was on to teaching at Wellspring s powerful church and ministry in Anchorage, AK, and then up to Whitehorse in Canada s Northwest Yukon Territory to teach a Dining At The Master s Table class and be a part of KFMI s annual ministry board meeting with dear brother and sister George and Rhonda. A real highlight was also being with Pastor Moses from the Bible School in Western Kenya, who had flown in for these meetings. Arriving home for a few days rest, we then had the privilege of hosting our annual Campfire Meetings with Pastors Carl and Sheila Fox at our farm in Massachusetts. This annual event has become a special joy to us all and you are so welcome to come to be a part of them. We ve already settled on August 25-28, 2011 for the next one    .so y all come!

September's travel brought Paul to New Bern, NC to teach a Spiritual Warfare class with Pastors Jonathan and Vicky. They are powerful ministers and dear friends with a thriving church that is hungry for more of God.

And now with January behind us with the previously mentioned Spiritual Warfare conference over in Anchorage at Wellspring Ministries and Wellspring church (such precious saints are there in Alaska who are hungering for revival and whose reach around the world to touch and heal peoples lives is breathtaking!) Paul is praying and preparing for travel to minister in Asia in the late winter. May the Lord continue to supply all that is needed physically and spiritually for these travels to encourage and teach the saints, while tending to the saints and family at home. The Lord is our Help!

So in conclusion - can we do all of these things? Clearly no, we can t. But can Christ Jesus our Lord do it? Yes, if we stay diligently resting in Him in the Spirit, listening and obeying His still small voice. So if we can stir your heart and have any positive impact at all, it would be to ask you to please pray for us to remain diligent and focused on only what the Lord wants. We daily submit our spirit. soul, and body to this purpose, and desperately desire to live only by every word that proceeds out of His mouth to us today, and then seek the same for each day thereafter. If you would do the same on our behalf, we would be so very thankful. Your prayers and help as you seek the Lord s wisdom is what it will take to accomplish the tasks before us.

We are greatly moved by the faithfulness of many churches, especially in Africa and Asia, to gather in the early morning hours, and pray many hours daily for God's provision and help for this ministry. For this we are in tears. We can only say thank you, and we can demonstrate that thankfulness by being diligent to accomplish what the Lord is giving us to do. At this time, we have no office staff, no employees, and few funds in comparison to the needs that are before us. But somehow the Lord makes things happen with precious and devoted volunteers who love our Lord Jesus Christ so much! With all of our heart we desire to walk by faith and not by sight. This is His Kingdom we are building, and we are committed to doing it His way and not ours.
